Buying a used RV from a private seller or a dealer? Before you hand over the money, we'll go through it top to bottom and tell you exactly what you're getting. Hidden water damage and dead appliances can cost thousands, and most of it isn't visible on a walk-through. We come to wherever the RV is parked in our service area. The inspection covers:
Roof membrane, sealant, vents, skylights, and AC shrouds
Water damage: soft spots, delamination, and moisture around windows, corners, and slide-outs
Shore power, converter/charger, batteries, outlets, and GFCIs
Propane leak test, regulator, and every gas appliance
Furnace, refrigerator, water heater, roof AC, and oven/cooktop, each run and tested
Water pump, faucets, toilet, visible plumbing, and holding tank valves
Slide-outs, awnings, and leveling jacks operated
Doors, windows, locks, and smoke, CO, and propane detectors
You get a written report with photos of everything we find, so you can negotiate the price or walk away. Motorhome inspections cover the living area only, not the engine, transmission, or brakes.
This rate applies to any job where we have to work with a third party and their paperwork, such as extended warranty companies and insurance claims.
Every service call has a $125 minimum. Book several services in one visit to get the most out of it.
